Where Quality is a way of life
Quality is essential to the success of any business. Quality is not just about implementing a system or working towards a set standard. It is an attitude, a culture, a way of working, which not only improves businesses but the way people work and live. The focus is always to deliver the best in-class, defect-free solutions and services to the customer as per his/her requirements and expectations, thereby enhancing the customer satisfaction indices, which in turn will enhance business and revenues.
At Sattvah, quality is a culture, expressed in the way we interact with and cater to the needs of customers, and in the products and processes we deliver to them. Sattvah’s Quality policy underlines the intent:
"To satisfy Customers by ensuring that the products and services provided meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations."Quality Check
Quality checking is a peer level process. The QC teams are a part of the production teams for a project. This team again comprises of Plot QC people and System QC people or only of System QC people depending upon the project and the workflow being used.
The QC team undergoes specific QC training at the beginning of every project so that they are familiar with the quality requirements of the project. There are also quality check forms which are filled by the QC people after each quality check. These forms are used by the converters to correct errors and also act as an important tool for a future learning process. Conduct meeting to QC team to get good quality out put with QC tools.
Quality Assurance
The quality assurance team is not part of any project team. They are independent, which makes them independent of any deadlines. Typically it has been seen that if there is a deadline pressure then the emphasis on quality would slip. That is the reason the QA team has been kept independent.
The QA team does sample checks on random samples during the duration of execution of a project. They also review QC reports which are being filled out by QC people to ensure that all required quality standards for the project are being maintained and followed to the later.
At any point of time, if the QA team feels a slip of quality they would bring the matter to the notice of the Project Manager prompting corrective action.
The QA team also does final quality check on every deliverable before it is delivered to the customer. They also prepare final QA documentation after ensuring that the deliverables favorably measure to the acceptance criteria set for the project.
